Why isn't Maya available in Bangla?

Launching Maya in Bangla is our top most priority. We are putting a lot of effort behind translating all the content in English into Bangla. Unfortunately we can't do this on our own - if you are interested in helping out or know an organisation that can support our initiative, please please please get in touch at info@maya.com.bd. 

Can I view Maya on my mobile phone?

Yes, you can view Maya on your mobile phone if it has full internet browser (all smartphones such as iPhones and Android phones this). We are working to optimise the website for use with smartphones. We are also planning on developing a mobile app for use with iPhones and Android phones.

Unfortunately Maya cannot be viewed by phones without full internet browsers at this stage. We are working on building customised applications for these kinds of handsets

Maya Village is the brand name used for our presence on Facebook, YouTube and other social networks.

How will Maya make money?

Maya is a social enterprise dedicated to empowering women. Maya aims to be self-sustainable through allowing advertisers to place non-intrusive ads on the website. Maya is also actively looking for funding and support from organisations with similar interests towards helping women.
